Are Those Real Flowers?

Yes it's true... These are real flowers... They are hand pressed one flower or one petal at a time. We grow a lot of our seasonal flowers right here Grove City *where we are based* and the others we purchase from local or regional U.S. distributors of all natural dried flowers.

Do our candles have a scent?

When the contents of the hive is opened to get all the honey and honeycomb, essentially what is left is the Bees Wax. Depending on what kinds of flower, clover, fruits or vegetable pollen that the bees encounter in their day to day lives of pollinating is essentially the scent that ends up in the honey as well as the wax. Bees Wax will always have a subtle scent of honey.

Where do the Stones & Seashells come from

Our stones come from a creek that feeds the sea in Central California, where we are allowed to collect them by hand. The conglomerate of these many smoothed stones have every imaginable shade of reds, blues, greens, yellows, blacks, whites, grays and clears, including semi-precious stones such as jade & jasper.
Our seashells are collected by us in and around Sannibel Island, Florida, where one of natures greatest shell beaches are awaiting the lucky persons plucking one of a kind shells from a myriad of marine life that abounds in and around the gulfs waterways and beaches.

We take A LOT of TIME and PATIENCE and LOVE to design our Pure Solid Bees Wax into unique candle creations that we hope you may enjoy for years and years to come. Bees Wax is one of natures most durable materials and has many applications besides candles. Burning a Bees Wax candle lasts MUCH MUCH longer than Oil based Paraffin types, and Bees Wax also helps in removing impurities from the air during combustion. Also, because it is all natural and hypo-allergenic, you can rest assured that you are not polluting the atmosphere with dangerous chemicals that are typically found in other types of candles. Lastly, Our 3" wide candles (burning in optimum conditions - no draft, 1/4" wick..) burn down the center, leaving the shell of the design, which can be replaced with a tea light or votive for endless candle enjoyment.
