Pineing Away - "Fresh Holiday Wreaths From The Farm"

Pat tells of her families endeavor with making the incredible wreaths and swags, special for the holidays!
- My father's Christmas tree farm is in Knob Fork, West Virginia. The
farm was established by my great-great grandfather in 1874. My
grandfather was the first of the family to grow Christmas trees, and my
father continues the tradition. My sister and I use the remnants of the
harvested trees to make the evergreen wreaths. I use mostly Fraser Fir, but we also have used Scotch Pine, White Pine, Blue Spruce and
Canaan Fir. We make the wreaths during the month of November. My
sister takes her wreaths to Annapolis, MD where she has repeat customers
who place advance orders, and I bring mine to my home in Mount Vernon
and decorate them with items I have collected throughout the year. I
also use pine cones that I have collected from trees on our Mount Vernon
farm and bows that I have made as I had time during the year. My husband has designed our display, and we rely on our sons for manpower. It has become a family affair! -
We applaud the connection you've made with your family and the beautiful bounties of Nature! The wreaths and swags were exquisite! Sure to offer feelings of everything wonderful during the days of family gatherings! Happy New Year To You And Yours! We'll look forward to your new creations for "2012"...

Eric Rausch - Is truly an inspirational artist! You can feel his hand print on every piece of his work you pick up to admire! Exceptional at his Art - he crosses over into various mediums to test his hand and creativity. He connects his works of art through the all inspiring, "Nature's Chaos", in his view. He is inspired by using different raw materials to watch how his choices - interact with each other. Producing- "a beautiful chaos" while using nature as his raw material. In his words, "clay is the most utilized natural material throughout the evolution of man kind". It seems that through his art form he has captured a piece of "Nature's Chaos" in each piece - showing the beauty that hides throughout!

Using a mixture of metal, colorful glass shards and natural material, motion and movement put this artist in the drivers seat. Being involved in arts, watercolor and oil painting, using words as a creative direction, being a musician and a specialized carpenter - he criss-crosses in and around, out and back again through his artistic endeavors. He is a successful artist coming from Montana to Ohio, showing at art galleries and other events. His success has given him a place in New York where his art work has taken off and proven his place in the art world. He's established his self and works on large private commissions at the present time. You can visit his internet site and have a look into his wonderful world of kinetic mobile sculptures:
