S. Betz Gallagher - Her art work has a life of its own! Each painting offers a look into a window of now and then! From portraits, paintings & emotions...All caught in their own time with her wonderful painting style! She hosted her, "One Woman Show - Titled: "Mother And Child" Full of timelessness and modernity of an important genre, of painting" Her grand opening was held on November 1, 2008 - located at "Terra Gallery" in the Short North - 8 E. Vincent D. Whitehead always loved drawing and painting! Beginning by sketching and scribbling pictures as a hobby, in 1996 he
decided to pursue the art of pen and ink in more detail. His love for
his family, nature, history and God has led him in a direction, still
unknown. His roads traveled have been blessed, with his incredible
style of Art! He draws what he loves best from the eyes of his heart
and soul...and is truly a master of his craft!
It
was amazing watching his steady hand bring to life a drawing from a
photograph, lifeless, yet almost breathing from his pen and ink! He
explained that he loved to use photographs because he could as an
artist make changes to the light, shadow, or perspective of the scene.
YOU can visit his site - www.rural-route-one.net - and venture off the beaten path to see his incredible works of art. Timeless treasures sure to make you wonder, how does he do that!

Aritst - Michelle Gase* * * * "Wildlife Art & Photography - "Visions of Tanzania"
Inspired by
parts of the world that many of us may never travel... far away places

Africa. Michelle Gase has crossed over beyond all of our imaginations
to a place that has bonded her to her subjects! From her photographs to

her incredible life like artistry! We are all fascinated by the grand
depiction of wildlife! Whether it be a tiger, a gorilla, zebra or an
elephant...all of us wonder in awe about the power of nature! Honestly,
while viewing her art work I could hear far away growls and roars from
the animals in her paintings! Thank You Michelle! Your art work gave me
a feeling of respect and admiration for the wildlife in your paintings
and art work! Through your creativity, you are lending a pathway for
young and old to places we may never travel and sites we may never see!

John Titus takes Art to a
whole new level! His love of construction has turned his direction
towards a site he envisioned with building! This medium has been
by-passed by many artist but it its a full circle when you think of
creating with skill! As you look at his work you can see the fine
detail he's taken to perfect each piece he's built from scratch!
Designing his furniture comes with much thought and vision into each
piece of his work. He uses wood, metal, and stone as a base for his
work. What's really fascinating about each structure is that each weigh
from 8 to 10 pounds! That's a hidden bonus that comes with his
furniture because kids or senior's can move these pieces from place to
place without a struggle, yet the furniture is built to last! He can
create custom pieces using your ideas and appeal to form one of a kind
table bases, sculptures, and furniture stands to enhance your home or
office, inside or out! With his designing skills he can also add the
color of your choice to match your home or office decor! You can visit his internet site - www.tablesbytitus.com -for an overview of what he has to offer and contact information!

Artist - Catherine Tietz Boring "Blown Glass And Pottery Art"
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Cathy Tietz Boring has
been blowing glass and creating pottery for 20 plus years! Her
connection to art comes through her love of bright colors and natural
forms creating one-of-a kind treasures. Hand blown paperweights,
vessels, and ornaments made by her encapsulate incredible colors with a
kaleidoscope effect! I can only imagine what it must be like to start
with solid glass, heat it up to an almost liquid form and then use a
straw tool to blow life into each piece! The globes themselves are
exquisite to the eye, especially when light reflects off of them
changing the color formations within each globe. Her vessels or vases
are truly beautiful and one-of-a-kind! Cathy is a woman on the move
within her art! She offers her artwork at fine art shows, galleries and
by appointment request. Art Classes, Art Camps, and Art Parties are
another of her passions working with children. Painting, water color,
acrylic's, drawing, working with clay and much more are offered to
children and adults through scheduled classes! You can visit her
internet site - www.tietzboring.com - to view her incredible work,

classes. Contact information is also available!
Wilder Germain is a self
taught Haitian painter. As a child he had an opportunity through a
Christian mission and a personal sponsor who opened the doors for him
into the world of ART! His sponsor's supplied him with the materials he
needed to try his hand at painting! Over the years his love of Art and
his sight of his subject kept paving the way for him to become a
professional painter! As I took in his paintings I felt like I could
walk beyond the pavement I was standing on into his world of Haiti, in
the West Indies. His paintings convey the lush, tropical environment
with mountain ranges and the experience of island life! His depiction
of the people give us an insight to part of our world rich in culture!
The colors in his work are so brilliant it leaves you with an uplifted
feeling at a spiritual level! You can contact Wilder Germain at - wildergermain@yahoo.com - for information about his art and his schedule at fine art shows!

Artisans - Bill And Mary Wilt "Coffee Break Pottery"
There was a buzz all day long
around Bill & Mary Wilt's art booth! Children and adults stood in
line and waited their turn to work with Bill on the pottery wheel! As I
watched I could feel the excitement from each of his students while
creating their own works of art out of clay. I thought to myself, what
a wonderful experience for the children and adults, spinning the wheel
and using their hands to mold unique and individual bowls or pots to
take home with them. The ceramics and pottery Bill and Mary make are
exclusive to their style! Every piece is rich in color, texture and
design! Sure to be a beautiful addition to any home! They have owned
and ran their business, "Coffee Break Pottery", in Grove City, Ohio
since 1988. Both are artisans who offer classes in their up-beat

"ART
ON THE MOVE"
We all have our own connection into expressing our art
choice! Some choose canvas...Some decide to become the canvas! This
festival goer wears his love of monster movie classic's and classic
characters every day! I loved the old time scary movies and the super
hero's of another time! I had to photograph this unique art and call
it, "ART ON THE MOVE"! "Self Expression" is the truest form of ART!

Music
was in the air! "Swing's Thing" set the mood for FUN IN THE SUN! "The
Kids Fun Street" area had entertainment for the whole family. This
young man sang an incredible rendition of, "The Sound Of Music", and
the stage for karaoke was a favorite spot for the teens to sing!
The Kids FUN Street was the top of its class
with all the great arts & crafts, games, play areas, and teen
spirit! Grove City should be applauded for its positive role it takes
in caring and providing good structure and outlets for all the kids!
"BRAVO" Grove City!

**FOOD**
No one went hungry with all the goodies
offered at the show. I must make comment about the, "Steadfast Church"
Pentecostals Of Grove City! This church is very fortunate to have the
support and hard work of, Wilbur Sowards, Phil Jones, Harold Burns, and
the rest of the worker bees at their funnel cake stand! Wilbur Sowards
should win the best sales of the day for his extra effort with selling
the yummy funnel cakes. He put his heart and soul into moving those
cakes! "Wilbur, You're A Dear, Dear Man! The church is lucky to have
you! Big Hugs My Friend!" The teens who operated the pop concessions
for the church were also to be commended for their work and
entertainment while supporting their church! It's people like you who
make the world go round! Good luck to each of you at the "Steadfast
Church"! ***"The Grove City Lions Club" also did an incredible job
working their stand and benefiting their community projects! "Thanks
For All You Do!"
